Codex Venetus. Pandect of the Greek Bible (OT and NT). | The unity of the two parts (Vatican, Venetian) was realised by E. Klostermann. The main problem is whether the Psalter was part of the original codex or was missing from the beginning. According to Fraenkel, it is most likely that the codex originally contained the Psalter. | Collation: LXXGot; HoP (siglum XI and 23) | Text-type: varying text-type. varying text-type. In the book of Ruth, this manuscript belongs to the R-recension. In the book of Isaiah, Codex Venetus is the main witness of the hexaplaric text, together with Codex Vaticanus (B); in Iob, this manuscript is closely related to Codex Alexandrinus (A), representing the L-group
