The manuscript is said to have belonged to Queen Constance, wife of Henry VI, who, according to tradition, was a nun in the Basilian monastery of S. Salvatore in Palermo (see Martini 1893: 141).
Illustrated manuscript. Four folios of the manuscript are nowadays kept in the Free Library in Philadelphia.
