| Provenance: The fragments come from the so-called “Achmimer Fund".
Fraenkel adopts Wessely’s dating of the difficult to date Greek script in the 7th / 8th. Century AD. The unidentified Coptic text of the scriptura inferior, which is written in two columns, has not yet been studied. The Coptic script allows a relatively clear dating to the 9th / 10th century. This makes it necessary to date the Psalter manuscript Rahlfs 1221 altogether later, probably to the 10th century AD.
